AABC Nationals in Dayton, OH
Elizabeth Giants Basketball has enjoyed tremendous success at State and National A.A.U. Tournaments. While participating in national tournaments is not the underlying goal of the organization, the history of success is no doubt the result of the Giants continuing commitment to skill development and improved knowledge of the game.

Our mission started in March of 2007 we started off by winning several Invitational Tournaments and after being 14-0 we finally lost in the Regional Finals in Wayne NJ but that qualified us for the Nationals.
Shortly after that we won the USBAState Championship and became the #5 team in the Nation in that Division, In early June we traveled to Connecticut and defeated the Connecticut State Champions which made us Regional Champions, our last stop was Dayton Ohio where we played for a National Title and Won.
This was no easy task as we lost our very first game in Ohio to the defending National Champs, but since this was a two game elimination we went on to win the rest of our games which brought us to the Championship where we had to face the team that beat us. The Defending National Champion Dayton Nets, this team had at least 4 players over 6 feet tall and their best player was 6 foot 3 and dunking at will, but our kids weren’t impressed the second game, with a few coaching adjustments and a team of kids playing with Heart the Elizabeth Giants 6Th Grade 12U AAU Basketball team became the 2007 National Champions, with a final record of 34-5. The first ever National Champions from Elizabeth, NJ.
